277　中越大震災の体験－外国籍市民の声－（その10 インドネシアの方）

The chuetsu earthquake that occurred on October 23rd,
2004 was the first experience for me to be in such great disaster.

In my homeland,Indonesia even it was an earthquake area also but
there was no such big earthquake occure
before tsunami in Aceh on December 26, 2004.

I think the most important thing that
someone should think when face such disaster
like earthquake, flood, or thypon
is to be calm that the disater will not kill us.
It is only natural phenomena.
Just be strong as strong as that you can.

I hope we all will be ready for any disaster in future if it come.

2004年10月23日に起こった中越地震は私にとって、
このようなひどい災害に見舞われた初めての経験でした。

私の国、インドネシアも地震地帯ですが、
2004年12月26日にアチェで起こった津波以前には
このような大きな地震はありませんでした。

私は、地震や水害、台風のような災害に直面したときに、
人々にとって一番大切なことは、
そのような災害は私たちの命を奪うわけではないので
落ち着いて前向きに行動するという事だと思います。
それらは自然現象に過ぎないのです。

私は、私たちが将来また災害が起きた時でも今回の経験を生かして、
災害に負けてしまわない事を願っています。
